The little kid in all of us

Isn’t it weird how every time you say goodbye to your mom, you suddenly feel like a 5-year-old kid being dropped off at kindergarten for the first time? The little girl inside me always swells up in tears and wants to cry out, “NO MOMMY, DON’T LEAVE ME!!,” even if only for a second.
